In Loving Memory of Diana A. Samuelson

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Diana Samuelson, one of the co-founders of the annual Prison Art Show. In addition to being a fierce advocate for justice, Diana was a beloved teacher, friend, mother, artist, wife, bicyclist, mentor, and craftsperson. Her passion for the Prison Art Show, and dedication to providing an outlet for creative expression to those experiencing incarceration, is just one of many enduring legacies her community will  inherit from her. We will miss her dearly, and remain grateful for the gift of having known her.
